Ordering From Harry Potter Online Books:

Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Orders can only be sent to the billing address of the cardholder placing an order.

Condition Of Our Books Listed Online:

All items are described honestly and with some caution. Unlike many retailers (especially book sellers) here at Harry Potter Books Online we try to steer away from terms like MINT or FINE after all, we all have different expectations of “Mint” and what is “Fine”? You will see most books are described as New and Unread or Used or simply New or Used for non-book items. Any item described as NEW will usually be in excellent condition, as you would expect to find in any high street shop. Any item described as USED will normally be accompanied by a more detailed description. If you are unsure of the condition of any item you are interested in please email us quoting the item description at: condition@harrypotterbooksonline.co.uk BEFORE placing your order, we will be only too happy to help.

Delivery Schedule:

We try to process all orders, where possible, within 24 hours. Whilst most items will be despatched within two working days, please allow 3-5 days for delivery within the UK. 5-7 days for Europe and 7-14 days Rest of World. Where SURFACE mail is selected the delivery time will be much longer 2-5 weeks for Europe 6-12 weeks Rest of World.

Payment:

We accept payment by Postal Order, Cheques, Cash (sent via registered mail) We also accept Nochex & PayPal, safe online payments that allow you to pay with your credit or debit card. Buyers from outside the UK please note: WE ONLY ACCEPT CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS IN GB POUNDS STERLING £’s PAYMENT OF THIS TYPE IS NOT ACCEPTED IN ANY OTHER CURRENCY.

Packaging:

At Harry Potter Books Online, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality, new materials for packaging and take great care to insure that happens. We too buy books online and can assure you NO ONE takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out within one working day, free of any charge.

Deliveries to UK mainland (inc. Northern Ireland)

For UK mainland deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. The postage cost per item should be shown along side the item description, if it is not, please email us at: postage@harrypotterbooksonline.co.uk for a quote. Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent first class recorded delivery and insured for £46.00. Heavier items may be sent Parcel Force 48 hour and will normally be insured for the full replacement value of the item. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance, Special Delivery or an expedited service please email the above for a quote BEFORE placing your order. Harry Potter Books Online reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.

Overseas & non-mainland UK:

For overseas and non-mainland UK deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. The postage cost per item should be shown along side the item description, if it is not, please email us at: postage@harrypotterbooksonline.co.uk for a quote. Items mailed outside the UK will normally be sent Airmail and insured for £46.00. Heavier items may be sent Surface mail (if selected) and will normally be insured for £46.00. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance or an expedited service please email the above for a quote BEFORE placing your order. Harry Potter Books Online reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. Enhanced insurance up to a value of £200.00 starts at just £1.00 extra and is highly recommended.

Returns:

If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 7 days of receipt. We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging (items which are sealed prior to despatch must be returned in the same condition, for example a sealed DVD). Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return. Items returned due to a "change of mind" will incur a 15% handling and restock fee. We do not refund postage costs unless an item arrives damaged due to our negligence. Items lost or damaged in the post that have been packed correctly are usually insured, we will fill out any necessary claims forms on your behalf and liaise with the correct Postal service to achieve a satisfactory outcome on your behalf. In the event that this becomes necessary please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from the Royal mail/Parcel force, this can take several weeks but we will endeavour to keep you informed of all developments as appropriate.
