| Harry Potter. Rare Bloomsbury Trade Counter Standee. Rare Counter top advertising standee, produced by Bloomsbury for trade use to help launch the first paperback celebration edition back in 2001. “This is the book that started it all” is boldly stated, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. The glossy card is approximately A4 size when closed (as shown) but opens up to show related products like the movie poster book, bookmarks and postcard books, etc. The reverse of the card shows other products and titles available, it also encourages “Don’t forget to stock up for Christmas” I should imagine “Don’t bother us it’s Christmas” would be the slogan today! The card is a rare, interesting and colourful piece of Potterphernalia and is perfect to use as a framed wall hanging! |
