| Harry Potter Gringotts Savings Book. This book was created exclusively for one retail outlet in the UK to coincide with the release of the very first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, way back in 2001 The idea was to collect 24 individual coins (each showing a different character or scene from the movie) by purchasing small packs containing two coins in each. The catch? Well, it wasn’t possible to tell which coins you were buying due to the faces of the coins been turned away from the viewable side of the pack! The idea been, kids would buy more than required and swap with friends. The problem was, not enough children purchased the coins due to the lack of retail outlets! This is a full set of 24 coins in a prefect binder. The set was compiled and filed! Now a very interesting and desirable piece of Potterphernalia!! |
